Change of business responsibilities within Lapinus Fibres' friction department

Since the beginning of 2007 Lapinus Fibres has a sales office in China.

Mr. Frans Borsboom has been deeply involved in the setting up of our Chinese operation and since the start he has been in charge of our office in Shanghai.

After one year we have decided that the time has come to even further increase our focus on China.

In this respect we have decided that as of April 1st, Frans Borsboom will transfer his responsibilities for Lapinus Fibres’ Asian friction business outside China to Mr. Mark Segeren. This will enable Mr.Borsboom to spend more time and effort on our business in China and preparing the next steps for Lapinus Fibres’ presence in China.

Consequently Mark Segeren will be responsible for LF’s global friction business (except China and Taiwan). Mark will be supported by Mr. Peer Gijsen, who has been appointed area manager within our friction business as of January 1st of this year.
