Phenolic Moulding Compounds
In this specific thermoset application (commonly known as Bakelite), Rockforce® RF840-Roxul®1000 improves properties in high heat resistant parts that need to have excellent dimensional stability. Due to its finer shape compared to glass, it is suitable for reinforcement in small or thin parts, e.g. engine parts or electrical parts. Its fibre form ensures superior reinforcing properties compared to mineral fillers.
Rockforce® RF840-Roxul®1000 is an engineered mineral fibre with a dual surface treatment that results in good dispersability and strength.
