Lapinus fibres in roof coatings prolong the lifetime of roofing materials by reinforcing the film layer. Compared to other fibres and fillers, the use of Lapinus fibres improves the chip resistance, impact resistance and scratch resistance. As such, the fibres can help slowing down deterioration caused by UV radiation.
Used in floor coatings in factories and laboratories, our fibres not only provide impact and crack resistance; they can also help in providing non-slip surfaces. By reducing the risk for damages, the penetration of liquids into the floor coatings is prevented. This property makes systems that contain Lapinus fibres also suitable for use in cark parks: besides the protection of the surfaces from liquid penetration, the fibres improve the resistance to mechanical damage, even soon after painting.
