Lapinus Fibres exclusive distributor for Promaxon D in Friction
Promat International NV and Lapinus Fibres have agreed on Lapinus Fibres being the worldwide distributor for Promaxon D in the friction Industry. Lapinus will start the distribution activities for Promaxon as of June 1st 2011 except for North America where the start is planned as from April 1st , 2012.
As Lapinus is a well established raw material supplier in the friction industry with a dedicated R&D team and facilities, Lapinus is in a very good position to support further growth of the Promaxon business by using its global sales channels and technical know-how.
Promaxon D is a unique raw material that is complementary to Lapinus' engineered mineral fibres. Technical advantages of Promaxon D in friction materials are:
- Increased compressibility
- Increased and stabilized friction level (without increasing wear)
- Improved fade resistance
- Improved recovery.
Lapinus has initiated in depth research regarding the USP's of Promaxon in friction materials, the results of this research are expected to be published soon.
