Vacant position: Business Developer Exterior Deco
Lapinus Fibres, part of the Rockwool Group, is the global supplier of mineral fibres to the coating, gasket and friction markets. The unique approach, by offering application knwoledge to the customers, has resulted in considerable growth. To enhance the growth in the coating market, Lapinus Fibres is looking for a:
BUSINESS DEVELOPER EXTERIOR DECO
(1 FTE)
The responsibilities:
• Contribute to the building of a business in the exterior deco market:
- Understand where opportunities lie for business growth, secure access to upcoming opportunities;
- Identify and exploit (technical) market demands and trends;
- Define internal development projects based on market demands;
- Initiate and coordinate joint development and third party research projects;
- In cooperation with the Business Team define the strategy to penetrate the market;
- Gather and transfer specific market knowledge as a basis for new product developments
in the Lapinus Application Development Centre.
• Maintain existing contacts and initiate new contacts with customers and key stakeholders
within the Exterior Deco market.
The Business Developer Exterior Deco will be reporting to the Manager Application Development Centre and will be located at the Roermond office.
The requirements:
• Higher educational (Bachelor/MS) degree in chemistry or similar;
• The successful candidate will have a vast knowledge of the exterior deco market,
especially paints, plasters and renders;
• Fluent English (in spoken language as well as written), preferably also Dutch and German;
• Personal skills: Entrepreneurial, pro-active mentality, service- and result oriented, ability to convince,
market orientation, analytic, ability to work independently yet a good team player.
